Hi habe ein amilo pa 2548 und dort wird der Monitormode nicht unterstützt, da mir ein Treiber fehlt, ich aber nicht weiß welcher ...

Kann mir jemand sagen wie ich das herausfinde ?
Habe linux, und bin dort leider eher unerfahren

Stimmt es wenn ich "su" in die Konsole eingebe, und danach das pw, dan ist das so ähnlich wie starten als administrator ?
Wenn ich aber "su" und mein pw eingebe kommt fehler bei Authentifizierung ...

lspci | grep Wireless

Liefert dir den Chipsatz der Karte, dann hier [ Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. Bitte einloggen oder neu registrieren ] den entsprechenden Treiber installieren.

Zu deiner zweiten Frage:
Nein su, was für substitute user steht, ermöglichst dir den User im aktuellen Terminal fenster zu wechseln. Gibst du nur su ein wechselst du den Benutzer zu root. Um einen Befehl als Administrator auszuführen nimmt man den Befehl su mit der Ergänzung -c also su -c '<Befehl>'. (Wobei du <Befehl> dann durch den Befehl ersetzt den du ausführen möchtest.
Über welche Distribution reden wir? Ubuntu?

Außerdem gehört dein Problem auch eher in den Linux&BSD Bereich.

Okay dann kann ich noch hinzufügen dass in Ubuntu der "root-Account" deaktiviert ist, deshalb musst du sudo verwenden oder den Account erst aktivieren.

lspci grep wireless eingebe, bekomme ich folgendes wirwar

Der Befehl muss lauten:

lspci | grep Wireless

Also den | nicht vergessen und Wireless groß schreiben!

habe ich gemacht, passiert nichts ...
Befehl eingeben, enter, und er springt einfach in eine neue leere Zeile ...

Wen ich den befehl kopiere und einfüge, dan geht er automatisch in ne neue Zeile ohne vorher etwas zu machen ...

Dann nur mal lspci und aus dem ganzen Output die Wlan Karte suchen.

Okay ich kürz es jetzt einfach ab :/. Letztendlich ist es ein Atheros-Chipsatz. Im Ubuntuusersforum gibts dazu diese Links:

ähm, jetzt bin ich verwirrt ...

ndiwswrapper habe ich ja !
und mein wlan funktioniert auch ...
musste aber dafür einen win 98 treiber installen ....

Was muss ich jetzt tun um das ganze zum laufen zu bekommen ??

Darin dürfte auch das Problem liegen der Treiber unterstützt vermtl keinen Monitormode. Entweder es mit einem aktuelleren Versuchen oder ein OpenSource Treiber verwenden wie aus dem Madwifiprojekt. Denn laut Aircrack wird deine Karte unterstützt.

hmm mit dem xp treiber geht das wlan überhaupt nicht ...
von wo bekomme ich nen open source treiber ??
