What type of DRM is being used with Avatar?
Avatar uses a new version of T@GES to manage activations.
How many activations do I get?
You start with three activations to begin with, but one of these activations will refresh each month (up to a maximum of three available activations at any given time).
Do I have to be online to activate my game?
While T@GES will initially attempt to activate your game online, you can elect to manually enter an activation code. You will need to enter the code that comes with your game into the T@GES website, you will then be given an activation code that you can enter manually. So, although you do not necessarily need to have your computer hooked up to the internet, you will need to go online to obtain a code before playing.
Can Tages be removed from my computer?
Yes. Full instructions are available on the T@GES website ([

What if I have problems with T@GES?
You may contact T@GES support directly via email at [

Is it possible to revoke an installation?
T@GES maintains a zero tolerance policy on revocations in the interest of security, but you get one refreshed activation per month, so if you do somehow manage to burn through your three activations, you only need to wait until the beginning of the next month.

Completely removing T@GES from your system
This process is very easy to perform:
* Activation
All information were stored at the application data repository, as defined by Microsoft and compatible with the "Game for Windows" requirements: the CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA\Tages directory.
CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA is a generic name and stand for:
o Prior Vista: XX:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data
o Vista and upper: XX:\ProgramData
Where XX is the drive letter where Windows is installed (on most PCs, the letter is 'C')
The CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA directory may be hidden by default. Once you have located the CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA\Tages directory, removing it completely removes ALL T@GES activations from your system.
* Drivers:
Please download our installer/un-installer at Drivers and run it.
if you would like to ascertain that everything IS removed, our two "level 3" drivers - atksgt.sys and lirsgt.sys- are located in the system32\DRIVERS directory. After un-installation, all registry keys that were created during the installation using the standart Windows' APIs are removed, as well as the two files (atksgt.sys and lirsgt.sys).
