Prologue The Possession – Shin

After Shin wakes up, look around and save your game. Try the door and wait for
the lights to go out. Pick up the cellphone and listen to the phone call. The
door will open. Go out to the hallway, and turn left. Follow the hallway and
try the door at the end. Turn around and walk back and a ghost will attack.
Turnaround and try the locked door, which will be open. Pick up the
flashlight, examine the doll and open the sliding doors. Look in and see the
body, turn around and get scared. Force open the door you came in through, and
run back to the main bedroom. The phone rings. Pick up the phone and finish
the first prologue.

The Awakening – Rin
School 4th floor
Exit music room, and save the game (blue spot on map). Find phone on floor near
Classroom 3-5, get call. Move to Classroom 3-2 and look in the crack in the
window. Examine the girls and an event occurs. Look around and a ghost will
attack you. Run down the northern stairs.

3rd floor
After checking the 3rd floor, check the locked Computer room, grab the
flashlight which is on a locker (it will fall to the floor) and save game.
Proceed to other stairwell to the 2nd floor then to the 1st floor.

1st Floor
On the first floor go to locker area, experience the mnemonic abyss cut scene
and save game. Proceed to 1st floor Janitor’s Office. Go to desk and get the
note out of the drawer. Check out the wallsafe. The combination is 0175 to
unlock the safe. This is solved by adding the days of the last full week on
the calendar and adding a zero to the front (which is a hint from the note in
the drawer). Grab the key to the computer room and proceed to the 3rd floor
(remember there’s more than one stairway).

3rd Floor
Enter the computer room and check the computer that is on. Watch the cut
scene. After the cut scene, exit Computer Room and follow ghost to the 2rd
floor, but use the other southern stairway because the one the ghost uses is
blocked.

2nd floor
Follow ghost to Art room and watch the cut scene. Try to exit the room, watch
the cut scene, then exit and save game. Go to 1st floor using southern exit
(follow the cat).

1st Floor
Go to Nurse’s Office and see Shin hiding behind the bed. After the interaction
with Shin, take his phone and exit. You’ll get a phone call from Makoto and a
message with a picture of the thrashed door. Use the south stairwell to go to
the 3rd floor.

3rd floor
Use the northern stairwell to get to the 4th floor

4th floor
SAVE YOUR GAME! Go to classroom 3-2 and examine damaged door and toss the phone
in. Once you’re in the classroom, record the noise with your cell phone (you
will see a recording icon as you go near the podium). Go to the desk with the
magazine and examine it. Be sure to remember the number (997-494-582) because
you need to dial the number while the 3 schoolgirl ghosts attack you.

The Wandering – Rin

Internet Cafe
Rin will be in a room (Internet café). First thing is to look on the floor and
pick up cell phone. A ghost will appear on the chair and disappear, when he
does, pick up the note. The note will have the number 29 on it. Go over to the
lockbox on the floor, and rotate the knobs until you get the numbers to 29.
When the box unlocks, empty out the doll parts until you get the business card.
Enter the number on the card (997-818-662) into the cell phone and Rin will be
teleported to a house.

One Story House
After cut scene, talk to the lady on the floor. Try to grab the cell phone and
examine the picture of the dolls. Go over to the dolls blocking the sliding
door and pick them up in the order that they are in the picture. When the dolls
are removed, open the sliding door. Enter the storage room (closet) and open
the door. Proceed through the hallway and open the bedroom door with all the
hair around it. Enter the room and get the cell phone on the floor by the bed.
When Shin appears, fight him off and go to the hallway. Fight off Shin for
approximately 1 minute. Go back into the room and answer the phone. Return
back to the storage room (closet). Return to the original room (doll room) and
pick up note.
Call the number on note with the cell phone (997-618-252) and teleport to the
hospital.

Hospital
Pick up cell phone. Walk near the sinks and record the noise. Examine the
medical chart on the stretcher. Enter the hallway and go up to the second
floor. Go to room 204 and pick up note on bed. Record the noise. Dial the
number on the note 997-082-196 to transport to a 2 story house.

2 Story House
Grab the cell phone on the table. Leave the room and into the hallway, then
enter the kitchen (next door down). Pick up the matches on the stove, and exit
the kitchen. Go up the stairs to the 2nd floor.

2nd floor
At this point your batteries will die in the flashlight. Proceed down the
hallway, there will be an opening to peek into. Peek into the room and observe
the Altar. Go to the next sliding door and enter the adjoining room. Enter
the Altar room, and light the candle at the Altar. Pick up the candle so you
now have light. Go over to the table and examine the picture, specifically the
woman (you should see a cut scene). Grab Micho’s letter on the table. Return to
the adjoining room and open the closet. Grab the wooden puzzle piece on the
left side. Return to the first floor.

1st Floor
Answer the black rotary phone that is ringing. Proceed down the hallway,
around the corner is a bedroom (sliding doors). Enter the room to see a ghost
in bed that will disappear leaving only a box. Examine the box and solve the
puzzle and receive Kyoko’s Letter.

THE WANDERING COMPLETED

The Return – Chiyo

Back at the one story house, you now play as Chiyo. From the doll room, walk
out the door into the light where you will appear in a forest. Follow the
ghost through the forest where eventually you’ll end up in a hospital.

1st floor
Walk down the hallway where you will experience a couple of cut scenes.
Proceed down the hallway a take the stairs up to the 3rd floor.

3rd floor
Enter the cafeteria (1st door on the right, where the ghost enters). Explore
the cafeteria until a cut scene appears, Go to the 2nd floor

2nd floor
walk down the hallway where a cut scene appears. Continue down the hallway to
the Nurse Station. Enter the Nurse Station and answer the phone. Exit Nurse
Station and proceed to room 204 (where the ghostly man appears again). Pick up
picture and cell phone on the bed. A cut scene will occur.

The Lamentation – Rin

2 Story House
Playing as Rin, get out the cell phone and dial the number on the Kyoko’s
Letter (997-116-286). Rin will be transported to the Hospital Lounge and her
candle will go out.

Hospital 3rd floor
Examine the TV cabinet and find a cell phone. Answer the cell phone and
witness an event where a ghostly nurse appears. Exit the lounge and proceed to
the Nurse Station. Enter the Nurse Station and grab Kyoko’s Diary 1. A cut
scene will occur. Exit the Nurse Station and a toy bicycle will appear. SAVE
YOUR GAME. Proceed to the stairs and fight off ghost for 1 minute. After the
ghost is gone, proceed down the stairs to the 2nd floor.

2nd floor
Proceed all the way down the hallway and turn right (east) and you’ll come
across a wheelchair with a radio on it. Examine the radio’s back cover and get
the batteries. The flashlight now works. Proceed to the 3rd floor.

3rd floor
Go to cafeteria and find Kyoko’s Dairy 5 on some shelves next to vending
machine. Go to room 301 and find Kyoko’s Dairy 6 on the bed. Go to 2nd floor.

2nd floor
Go to room #204 and pick up Kyoko's Diary 4 from the Nightstand. Go to the
operating room and pick up Kyoko's Diary 3 on the shelf under the save point.
Go to room #202 and pick up Kyoko's Diary 2 from the bed. Go back to room #204
and use cell phone to record noise. Go to 3rd floor.

Hospital 3rd floor
Go to the Cafeteria and record the noise (Tip: Turn off flashlight to see
glowing areas where to record sounds.). Go to the Nurse Station and receive a
call. Once you get the call a nurse will appear and a business card will
appear on the ground. Pick up card and dial the number on the cell phone
(997-447-619). You will then be transported to the 1st floor.

1st floor
Rin will end up in the Director's Office. Go to the drawer and get the cell
phone from the center drawer. A ghost will attack, so fight him off. You will
have to grab the cell phone again, and once you do the door will unlock. SAVE
YOUR GAME NOW. Proceed to the Treatment Room and use the cell phone to record
the noise (right outside in the hallway). A cut scene will appear and Rin will
receive a call. After the call ends, Rin is attacked by a ghost. Fight off
the ghost for approximately 1 minute. Return to the director's office and
acquire Kyoko's Diary 8 from the cabinet. The ghost nurse will appear near the
cabinet. Grab Kyoko's Diary 9 from the front desk where the save spot is. As
you leave the front desk there is a spot to record the sound on your cell
phone. Go to the Treatment room and pick up Kyoko's Diary 10 on one of the
tables where the ghost appears. You will see a ghost sitting in the lobby and
the ghost nurse by the elevator. The ghost nurse will drop a key for you to
pick up (Nurse Station 2nd floor). Dial the number on Kyoko's Letter 1 to
transport to the 3rd floor. (997-116-286).

3rd floor
Pick up cell phone on the floor, and proceed to the Nurse Station on the 2nd floor.

2nd floor
Once you unlock the Nurse Station, enter and pick up Kyoko's Diary 7 on the
table next to the laptop. Check out the laptop and scroll through the text.
After the cut scene, exit the Nurse Station and follow the ghost to the 3rd floor.

3rd floor
Go to the Computer Lounge (it's just called Lounge). As you enter a cut scene
will appear. Scroll down the chat screen to the end. Exit the Lounge and SAVE
GAME by the Nurse Station. Dial 997-447-619 to proceed to the 1st floor

1st floor
Grab cell phone at the front desk, and you will see a Reiko's ghost in the
lobby. As you get close to the ghost, a cut scene will appear. Follow the
ghost up to the 3rd floor and room 302. Don't linger as you will start to lose
health. As you examine the door a cut scene will appear.

END

At this point the credits will appear and a cut scene will play. There is now
a new chapter unlocked: The Mnemonic Abyss

The Mnemonic Abyss – Makoto

Geek Room
Makoto wakes up in the Geek Room and a cut scene will occur. He will receive
Sadao's Notebook 1. Move the pillow to acquire the cell phone. Enter the name
Mako in the computer for the password. (One of the Anime characters on the
wall) Scroll through the text and get a phone number. Dial the number
(997-684-771) which you can access from the notepad by pressing the (C) button.
You will be teleported to the Beauty Salon.

Beauty Salon
A brief cut scene will appear. Turn on light and a mannequin head will fall to
the floor. Pick up Sadao's Memo 1 on the floor next to the head. Pick up cell
phone on table. Go to the lockers and the first locker on the right pick up
Drifters Memo 9. Exit the break room. Go to the end of the Salon and pick up
key on the bottom of the square shelves. Go back to the break room and open
the locked locker. Pick up the flashlight. Exit break room and see Sadao's
ghost. Pick up Sadao's Notebook 2 from the couch. Examine the refrigerator
and you receive an email of a picture of the refrigerator. Open the
refrigerator's door and kneel down to pick up Sadao's Memo 2. It will have 2
numbers. Dial number 997-118-029 to be transported to the Hotel.

Hotel
Go over to bed and pick up Hotel Memo with the code 369. Open TV cabinet to
experience an event. Go to luggage and use the knobs to input the code 369.
Use the left knob to go up numerically and the right knob to go down. Solve it
by going all the way to 999 with the left knob and tapping the right knob to
369. Acquire the cell phone in the open luggage. Go to bathroom and draw back
the shower curtains to acquire Sadao's Notebook 3. Force open the door and
fight off a ghost. Go to area by window and record sound. Dial the number
997-494-582 to transport to the Internet Cafe

Internet Cafe
Pick up cell phone on the floor next to the save point. Obtain Sadao's
Notebook 4 and get a message of a picture of the computer in the Geek Room.
Turn around and record the sounds. After you've listened to the sounds you
will see a ghost by the computer. Fight off the ghost and examine the computer
screen scrolling to the bottom of the text chat. Dial the Geek Cell Phone
number 997-916-785 to transport back to the Geek Room.

Geek Room
Log into the computer with the password: MAKO. Scroll down to bottom of text
to receive a new number. Dial the number 997-657-281 and transport to the school.

School 4th floor
After a brief cut scene a schoolgirl ghost steals your notepad with the
numbers. Grab cell phone on the counter. Force open stall door to experience
event. Exit bathroom to get a message. Take the stairs down to the 3rd floor

3rd floor
Go down hallway to a brief cut scene of 3 ghosts chasing shin. Take the stairs
to the 2nd floor.

2nd floor
SAVE GAME NOW and proceed to the Art Room. Find Sadao's Notebook 5 near busts
on counter, and a cut scene will appear.

MNEMONIC ABYSS COMPLETED

At this point you have the option to replay The Awakening and The Possession
chapters or skip them. Replaying them will allow you to explore further and
acquire items that will unlock secrets. Refer to the previous chapters.

The Remnants – Makoto
You will return as Makoto meeting up with Rin in the school. After a brief cut
scene, follow Sadao's ghost down to the 1st floor.

1st floor
SAVE GAME NOW Go to the Principals Office and in the drawer of his desk get
Sadao's Notebook 6. When you leave the office you will encounter 2 ghosts.
Fight off ghosts and head up to the 3rd floor.

3rd floor
Proceed to the Computer Room where you will see Sadao's ghost. Enter the room
and examine the computer. You will see 2 telephone numbers (997-684-771 and
997-657-281). Leave the Computer Room and an event will occur. Go back to
the computer and pick up Sadao's Card. Go back to the 1st Floor.

1st floor
Go back to the Nurses Office, when you enter a brief cut scene will appear and
Makoto will lose his phone. Pick up Nurse Office Chart 1, 2 and 3 on the
floor. Go to the last bed and pick up Phone Number Memo 3 on the floor. Exit
the Nurses Office and follow the ghost up to the 3rd floor. Becarful as she
will attack you on the way.

3-4rd floor
Follow the ghost to the northern stairway to get the 4th floor. She will
attack you along the way. Go to room 3-2 and look inside. Force the door open
and retrieve the notebook. Pick up Samsara Magazine on one of the desks. Look
outside of the door window and see a girl in a red dress and exit the
classroom. SAVE YOUR GAME. Proceed to the Music Room. When in the music
room a cut scene will play showing the cell phone on top of the piano. Duck
down out of site. When you hear the music play you can move forward, but you
must duck and hide when the music stops. Grab the phone and run out of the
Music Room. Run back to the 3rd floor. Dial 997-894-516 to transport.

Jun Kondo's house
After the cut scene pick up the cell phone. Go out the door and through the
hallway to the door that is covered in hair. Try to open door to cause an
event. Dial the Beauty Salon's number 997-684-771 to transport.

Beauty Salon
SAVE YOUR GAME NOW! Pick up cell phone and open door. Look on the carts for
scissors and this will trigger an event where a ghost will appear out of the
mirrors. Run away from the ghost and back into the storage room. You cannot
fight off this ghost. After a few seconds (the save point will become active)
open the door and retrieve the scissors from the door. Dial Jun's number on
the cell phone.

Jun Kondo's House
Pick up cell phone on ground, and select the door. Makoto will use the
scissors on the door so it will be able to open. Examine the dresser with the
save point and open the top drawer to retrieve Sadao's Notebook B. After
reading though the notebook, you obtain a Business Card. Dial the number
997-447-619 to transport.

The Connection – Makoto

Makoto is in the Hospital Director's Office. Grab cell phone on coffee table.
In one of the cabinets on the shelving, obtain Sadao's Notebook 9. When you
exit the office an event will occur and a ghost will attack you. As you leave
the office, the flashlight will go out. Go all the way down the end of the
hallway to the stairs and follow the ghost down to the basement. He will drop
something you can't see yet. Go to the 2nd floor

2nd Floor
When you arrive on the 2nd floor you will receive a message. Go to the 3rd floor.

3rd floor
Go to room 301 and get the lit music box. Examine the bottom of the music box
to get the batteries. Go back to the basement.

Basement
Retrieve the object (Key) Return to the 1st floor.

1st Floor
Return to the Director's Office and open the middle drawer of his desk. Obtain
Contact Book 1 and Director Memo. Proceed to 2nd floor.

2nd floor
Go to the Nurse Station and get the Medical Contact List on the table. Fight
off the ghostly nurse and leave the office. Piece together Hina Hidaka's
number from the Medical Contact List and Contact Book 1 (997-521-884) and dial
it on the cell phone. You will be transported to the 3rd floor nurses station.

3rd floor
Grab the cell phone and exit the Nurse Station, in the hallway you'll see
another phone on the floor. Grab the cell phone and you'll receive an email.
View email and you'll see a garbage chute. Go to the first floor.

1st floor
Go to the Treatment Room and get Medical Cotton. Proceed to the 2nd floor.

2nd floor
Go to the Operating Room and get Medical Bandages. Now the cell phone is
bundled up. You can also grab Kyoko's Diary 12 on the shelf under the save
point. Go to the 3rd floor.

3rd floor
Walk to the room to the left of the restrooms, and select the garbage chute to
toss the cell phone down. Dial 997-894-516 to transport.

Basement
Pick up cell phone and leave room. Enter the Morgue and see ghost and child.
Enter the data room and pick up Report 1 from the desk. In the desk drawer
pick up Report 2. Find Report 3 on another table. Find Report 4 on the floor.
Find the final Report 5 on the top shelf of one of the medical chart shelves.
As you exit an event will occur. Return to Data Room and find the Death
Certificate and Contact Book 2. Dial Yuko Asigiri's phone number 997-674-681
to transport.

The Lamentation

The Curse – Makoto

Makoto is transported to an Apartment. On the TV stand pick up Yuko Asigiri's
Diary 1. Examine Robot Doll on the floor and move the robot to get Sadao's USB
Flash Drive. Pick up cell phone on kitchen table. Go to the drawers (it is
purple and green) and find a panel key. To open push the middle button, top
left button, top right button, bottom right button, and bottom left button.
This will unlock Yuko Asigiri's Diary 2. After you read it Kyoko's Letter 2
will drop out. Call Yoshi Kuromiya's number 997-447-619. A cut scene appears
and you will be attacked by a ghost. Fight off the ghost for approximately one
minute. Pick up cell phone on floor and an event occurs.

Studio Apartment
Pick up cell phone. Examine the photo of Sadao and the computer will turn on.
Examine the computer and insert USB flash drive. Use the number on Sadao's
card as the password (993-754-862). Scroll through text and a cut scene occurs.

THE CURSE COMPLETED

The Bond – Rin

You are now Rin in the Hospital. Leave the Lounge and get a phone call. After
you get a phone call, and event will occur and Makoto's ghost drops Phone
Number Memo 4. Pick it up and follow Makoto to the stairs. Follow Makoto to
the 1st floor.

1st floor
Try to pick up cell phone and a ghost attacks. Try to get the cell phone again
and a ghost takes it.
Go to the waiting room and a cut scene appears. Follow Reiko up to the 3rd
floor and to room 302. Do not follow too far way or you'll die. Enter room
302 and a cut scene appears.
