Ich suche eine Firmware für mein Galaxy S (1). Aktuell ist android 2.3.4 drauf. Ich hatte überlegt auf ICS zu flashen, weiß aber nun nicht, welche Firmware da gut ist.

Im Prinzip suche ich nur eine Firmware und Kernel die schnell/gut sind. Androidmäßig sollte es nicht unter 2 sein.

Ich selber habe schwierigkeiten da was passendes zu finden. Das Angebot ist da ja schon doich recht groß.

VIelleicht gibts hier ja jemanden der sich damit auskennt und mehr mit dem Thema vertraut ist. Eine Empfehlung wäre nicht verkehrt.

- Low memory killer minfree settings (20MB, 24MB, 32MB, 46MB, 60MB, 80MB or 92MB).

- Theme support with cwm update s*****.
- Touchscreen sensitivity (Low, Default, high, super high)
- Stagefright (on/off).
- UnderVolting (UV) 0-55mv undervolt in 5mv steep on 100MHz-1000MHz.
- Total wipe option
- 3 different settings for the cache system
- Swap SdCards



**** Information ****

It have the cleanup system that will make a total wipe of the phone.
Look here in the **** Total wipe guide ****

Default frequency is 1440MHz.
When the screen is on it will use 200MHz to 1440MHz.
When the screen is off it will use 100MHz to 800MHz.
It will also steep up faster in frequency.
It also use 1/3 of the cpu time to steep up compare to Tornado Aureus Beta 2.
This should make it faster, but also drain more battery.
Low memory killing is set at 92MB.

If your phone cant handle 1440MHz then you should NOT try this kernel.
This kernel is made most for games.
After some test for battery drain I have done it shows that there is not more then normal. in normal use you can easy use it over 24 hours.
With normal/low use it hold 4+ days.
Now the CIFS is working. It is compiled into the kernel. So no module.






**** Memory Cache system ****

I did make new systems for how the phone is caching programs.
DEFAULT is the system i have used for a long time.
CACHE use less cache and more memory.
LOW use pure memory and minimum cache.

Those settings can be changed in the recovery.



**** Swapping sdcards ****

Now you can swap the internal sdcard with the external sdcard.
The external sdcard can be up to 32GB.
If you swap the sdcard you will now have 32GB internal sdcard instead of 6GB.

Remember to have the external sdcard in the phone when you boot the phone.
If you have apps etc on your internal sdcard then you need to move them to the external before you use this.

Those settings can be changed in the recovery.
Start the phone and see if they have changed.
If not do power of the phone and start it up again.



**** New cache (market etc) ****

This new cache system is made to remove the market error when you download a big file.
The old market used 2 different cache system for this.
But the new market are only using one. So it will run out of space on bigger files.
There is also some other bugs with that.
This cache system will solve them.
You do have as much space that you have free on /data.
So if you have 1GB free on /data you will have 1GB free space in the cache also.
The kernel will use this as default. So you dont need to make a s***** for this.

ich probiere mal die von Tornado. Darkys ROm ist derzeit drauf, gefällt mir aber nicht so.

Habe meinen Galaxy I9000 fast 2 Jahre, Garantie ist auch so gut wie weg... Wollte auch mal was anderes ausprobieren... Hast Du was gefunden? Habe FW:2.3.3 drauf...
