Am heutigen Tag wurde der "Löwe" endich aus dem Sack gelassen. Seit 14:30 Uhr kann das Betriebssystem über den Mac App Store bezogen werden.
Bereits nach der Installation fallen Neuerungen an der Oberfläche auf, das Betriebssystem ähnelt nun seiner mobilen Verwandtschaft iOS stärker: Scrollbalken sind nun wesentlich schmaler und werden nur bei Bedarf angezeigt, Adressbuch, Kalender und Mail erhielten ein neues Design. Mit „Launchpad“ gibt es eine Übersicht installierter Anwendungen, welche jener von iOS-Geräten stark ähnelt – allerdings können darüber keine Anwendungen deinstalliert werden, nur gestartet.
Die finale -RETAIL- Version vom 20. Juli 2011 ist identisch mit dem Golden Master Build, der Anfang Juli an die Entwickler verteilt wurde.

Apple hat jetzt die Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 Version für die Entwickler zur Verfügung gestellt und bringt damit die erste Unterstützung von iCloud auf den Mac.
Der Download von 10.7.2 ist nur mit einem Entwickler Account möglich und über das Developer Center verfügbar. Dieses Update soll den Entwicklern die Möglichkeit geben, ihre Programme auf die iCloud anzupassen und auszuprobieren. So erklärt Apple auch auf der Entwickler-Website, dass OS X Lion 10.7.2 "nur für das Testen von iCloud" veröffentlicht wurde.
Die offizielle Version von OS X 10.7.2 wird vermutlich erst zum Start von iCloud für alle Nutzer verfügbar sein.

Burn Using DVD-SL
Requirements:
• Disk Utility.
• Standard sized 4.7GB DVD.
• DVD+/-R SL Burner.
1. Mount the "Install Mac OS X Lion.dmg"
2. Open Disk Utility.
3. From the drive list on the left, select "Install Mac OS X Lion.dmg"
4. Click "Burn" to burn on your blank 4.7GB DVD.
5. When the disc is burnt, restart your computer and hold 'C' to boot from the DVD.
6. Follow the onscreen instructions to install Lion.
Install via USB Flash Drive/External Hard Drive:
Requirements:
• Disk Utility.
• USB Flash Drive/External Hard Drive with at least 4GB of free space.
1. Mount the “Install Mac OS X Lion.dmg”
2. Plug in your USB Flash Drive/External Hard Drive.
3. Open Disk Utility.
4. Select your USB Flash Drive/External Hard Drive from the drive list on the left.
5. You'll see "First Aid, Erase, Partition, RAID, Restore."
6. Click on "Partition."
7. Under "Volume Scheme", Select "1 Partition."
8. Once selected, hit the "Option" button at the bottom of the map.
9. A window will pop-up, select the "GUID Partition Table" option.
10. Once its done, navigate to the "Restore" tab.
11. From the drive list on the left, drag the mounted “Install Mac OS X Lion.dmg” to the "Source" field, and drag your USB Flash Drive/External Hard Drive to the "Destination" field.
12. Click "Restore."
13. Close Disk Utility, Open up System Preferences. Under "System," choose "Startup Disk,"
14. Your USB Flash Drive/External Hard Drive should be listed as the Mac OS X Lion installer. Select and click "Restart."
15. Follow the onscreen instructions to install Lion.

Downloaded direct from the AppStore. I just installed it on my own MacBook Pro and it works perfectly.
Please run all your System Updates before running the installer to ensure the best possible experience. It takes about 15-20 minutes to do the initially additional downloads and then automatically restarts directly into setup. It is an in-place upgrade, but I do recommend backing up anything important just in case there is a problem. The installation itself takes approximately 30 minutes. Once the system reboots the second time (post-installation) it will take another 5-10 minutes for initial configuration before getting to full usability.

You can only install onto Intel Macs, and you have to be running 10.6.8 snow leopard.

Installation:
1. Right-click on the downloaded. App> Show Package Contents> Contents> SharedSupport
2. Mount the image InstallESD.dmg
3. Run the installer
The very image of Lion is in the App / Contents / SharedSupport. Run the App to install the original Mac. To set the image to expand hakintosh Lion on a flash drive or a separate drive and put with it.
If the App does not start open a terminal (Terminal.app) enter chmod x
space then drag the file into the Terminal window Install Mac OS X Lion.app / Contents / MacOS / Install Mac OS X Lion and click on entero

Apple has seeded the golden master version of OS X Lion to developers ahead of its public release sometime this month (July). The golden master download is available from Apple�s Mac Developer website. The build number is 11A511. In addition Apple has seeded Developer Preview 7 of Xcode 4.1.
OS X Lion brings many innovations from iOS including home screens (called Launchpad in Lion) autosaving full screen application interfaces and auto resume in apps. This is in addition to native support for the Mac App Store Mission Control an all new email client built-in FaceTime and interface and feature improvements through out the operating system. Lion also includes AirDrop file sharing multi-user remote computer access and Find my Mac (through iCloud).
The GM is identical to the current retail. It you currently run a leaked copy of the GM I'm sure Apple would appreciate it if you were to launch App Store and BUY Lion but there is no technical reason to do so merely moral ones....

We�ve just received a tip that OS X Lion 10.7.2 a combo update is available for Mac developers in Apple�s developer site. While the OS isn�t available on the regular Mac portal it�s available as a direct link within the iCloud for Lion beta section. No word on what updates or changes will be in OS X Lion 10.7.2.

Muss man beim Brennen (ich würde sie mit einem Windows Rechner laden und brennen) irgendwas beachten? Schreibgeschwindigkeit? Spezieller Rohling? etc?
Bitte keine Fragen wie: Warum lädst die nicht direkt mit einem MAC?
Ich kann aktuell nur mit einem Windowsrechner ziehen.
